Our Beliefs
We accept the Bible as God’s Holy Word, inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We believe the Bible to be God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind and our guide in all matters of faith; therefore, we look to the Bible as our highest authority for doctrine, practice, organization, and discipline.
We are a family church
We believe that families make up the very fabric of our society and our churches today. We are committed to ministering to the many needs and issues that impact our home.
We are a community church
We believe that our strongest influence is within the neighborhood and community within which we live. We are committed to serve and minister to the needs of the community around us.
We are a multicultural church
We believe that the multi-ethnicity of the society in which we live necessitates a ministry that is cross-cultural. We are committed to ministering to the diversity of the culture that is around us.
We are a mission church
We believe that we have a responsibility to world missions. We have committed ourselves to missions abroad. We facilitate this support through our financial giving to and direct involvement in missions on a regular basis.
Bishop Tom Horton
Pastor Tom Horton is the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Community Church COGOP, Lompoc, CA., and a licensed minister in The Church of God of Prophecy, Cleveland, TN. He has an Associates Degree from Tomlinson College in Biblical Studies. He’s been married for 38 years to Rita Horton and together they have four adult children and 7 grand children. Tom and Rita Horton have been in ministry for 36 years in the States of Arizona and California as pastor, state youth directors, state camp directors, senior camp directors, district overseer, and various committees.
